Bachelorette Party Fiasco? | |
Below is a preview of the cover of the new issue of Star Magazine. Apparently, they have exclusive photos of a bachelorette party, probably from Laura Lynne’s wedding that she attended not long ago. I wouldn’t be surprised though if they got those pictures and made up a story to go with them. I’ll post scans as soon as possible!

Britney Spears ‘Best Friends With Ex-Husband Kevin Federline’ | |
Britney Spears and her former husband Kevin Federline have become best friends, according to her sister.
Jamie Lynn Spears told Hello! Kevin, who split from Britney three years ago, had been taking care of the couple’s two children on the singer’s US tour.
Kevin, who has custody of Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 1, is also apparently on good terms with Britney’s parents.
“Kevin has been great, as always,β Jamie Lynn said.
βHe and Britney have become best friends. She knows how much he cares about the boys and he knows the same is true of her.”
Britney and Kevin married in 2004 after just six months together, but announced plans to divorce in November 2006.
Last year, Kevin was awarded full custody of the couple’s two children as the singer battled to control her personal life.
Britney is due to head to Europe in June to begin the international leg of her Circus, world tour.

Jamie Lynn Attends Cousin’s Wedding in Louisiana | |
After making a big splash in the Bahamas the day before, Britney Spears emerged Saturday in Amite, La., where she made a low-key appearance as an “honorary” bridesmaid at the wedding of her cousin, Laura Lynne Covington.
“When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful,” says one wedding guest. “She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected.β
The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church, the same church where the funeral for Covington’s mother Sandra, who died of ovarian cancer, took place in January 2007.
Later, at the wedding reception, the pop star hung out with her sister and fellow bridesmaid, Jamie Lynn, who toted baby Maddie, and “sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew,” says the guest.
“There was no fanfare,” noted the guest. “With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride’s day.”

Hey guys! I made and coded a new layout for Jamie-Spears.com. I hope you like it because I know I do! I realized we had never used those pictures on a layout before and they’re just so adorable that I had to use them.
Also, you’ve probably realized that there are more ads than there used to be on the site. It’s really hard to get to our monthly goal to pay for the server this year because of the recession and I’m testing out new strategy to increase our revenue. So, I apologize to regular visitors and people who’ve been coming here since day one.
